Commissioned by .These are his characters Libentia the fairy dragon and her protector Meian.
I really enjoyed painting Libentia, I usually draw humanoid characters and she was a nice change.

I just looked for a japanese name that had a specific meaning. And the name Meian has exactly this meaning: light and darkness.

I love how you draw your costumes, rather paint them. They are so realistic! Also I love the colour palette you used for this and the textures of the fur and clothing. The composition is beautiful as well.
