Edit:: I made this a kind of step by step animation process.The colored part was done in Photoshop frame by frame. That was a really fun experiment.
I've been a procrastinator today.
Major slacking. I just started drawing in flash a little foal, which turned into animating..I thought I would post it for fun.

The second part was with the lower chest, the end of the animation was very high with the head, but perfectly.

That really looks great^^ You often see that the neck or head does not move, too, that only the legs and a part of the back move, but here... it's great^^ The moving looks so real

Very nice.
But I see that you have forgotten the hair on the head of the horse.
In the "step 2" there you'll have the hair, but not of the other steps.
Not on the final result either. Was that planned?

lol I needed then when animating my cartoon. I ended up cutting out the horse walking part. Very well done, must have taken a lot of work, such smooth animation , thumbs up

The head and neck look a tad stiff compared to the body and the over all image looks a bit like you drew a young foal's head on like a 8 month old's body, but the animation is dead on.

it would be amazing in every 5 or 6 strides, the colt did a little buck, his hind legs up in the air.

That really is an amazing job.
One little thing though, the body/back appears to be getting longer and shorter, I know it is normal for the body to stretch out a bit while running but maybe here it is stretching a little too much?
I don't often see running horses, so it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me.
