So as none of you may know, I have the BIGGEST and WEIRDEST obsession with 1950s pinups. I have no idea why, they are just completely fascinating to me and invoke a sensuality modern models don't seem to possess. So with the upcoming (today's) release of Pokemon X and Y, I thought I'd whip something up real fast (3 hours). This is my starter choice Fennekin, Va-Va-Voom!As a side note, I'd just like to mention that I find the best part of this piece is her outfit. The pose is fine and incorporating the Pokemon's attributes works, the outfit is just spot on. I love garters, I love suspenders, and those shoes? Why those are the best damned heels I've ever drawn and colored! Seriously, I invite anyone to look through my gallery and find a better set of footwear, because for the last 22 years of my life shoes have been the BANE of my artsy existance.
Right... so long story short: I'm buying Pokemon and I have a fetish for classic pinups.

You sure "fetish" is the right term for it? Still sounds like pure fascination to me. Heck, I remember hearing that a guy had a fetish for bridges when it really was just a great appreciation for the architecture. Granted it was on TV but still...
This does not convince me to get Fennekin. I still have no idea which starter I should choose.

Hey! Congrats on your shoe success! Those are, indeed, some very nice shoes. I remember when I first started drawing heels/shoes/feet that I was happy with.Β Good times. My only minor (hopefully constructive) criticism would be that it kinda looks like she has two left feet. Or perhaps the angle of her right foot is kind of weird. I might be wrong, but I think the sole should be almost visible and, therefore, a straight line rather than a curve like you've drawn it.Β Other than that, though, awesome! I especially like the garters! And the lace trim.
