Item: Antlers Headband
The brunette Brit didn't have much time to think as tawny fur began sprouting rapidly from her flesh. She yelped and moaned, tearing at her clothes as she fell to her knees in the snow covered field. What was happening? Who had done this? Was it Talon? Was it Vishkar? Was it a Winston experiment gone wrong? So many possibilities and unknowns while only one truth kept leaping to the front of her mind, she was changing. She felt her hands ache and stiffen. Thinking it was due to the cold snow they were buried in, she pulled them out to give them some relief, only to quickly hide them back into the snow. What had left the crunching white powder weren't hands, but instead the dark, hard hooves of some sort of animal. This couldn't be happening, this wasn't real... She tried to reason the experience away as some sort of illusion or dream. However, a stiff cold wind chilling her now bare rear confirmed her terror that this was all too real.
She had to find someone, to go somewhere... She swung her head around on a long, fluffy neck. She was somewhere in the Russian wilderness, a clearing covered in snow and pine trees... it felt calming... homey... she was- She blinked, pulling her mind back out of the blurring thoughts. She could feel her mind becoming weighted down, getting harder to concentrate, to focus. She just had to keep strong and remember who she was.
'I am Lena Oxton, member of Overwatch,' She thought to herself, 'I am dating Emily and I'm from London, England,' this wasn't so hard, 'my favorite food is- grass...' as the thought hit her head, she lowered her face to the snowy ground. After some raking with her hoof, she revealed some grass hidden beneath and took a bite. As she absently chewed, she dug for another patch before catching herself and spitting out the green morsels. 'NO!!' she shook her head, trying to ignore the new weights on her head. 'I am Lena Oxton, member of Overwatch... I am dating Emily and I- live in the forest with my herd...' She shook her head again as her nose darkened, widening slightly. 'I am Lena... uhm... I am Lena, and I am a member of... of...' she frantically tried to find the words, but 'herd' kept popping up instead. 'I-I am dating... I... what was dating? I... mate... I with mate... I one of strong buck's mates... she... she wanted to-' her fluffy tail lifted beyond her control, yet the cold air against her rear only made the thoughts harder to overcome.
'I... Am...' Her face began to push out, 'I... am...' her nose and mouth stretched into a cervine muzzle, 'I...' there was a click in the reindeer's head as her ears twitched. Where was her herd? Why was she alone? Danger. Predators. The doe bounded off towards the treeline, following the musky scent of her kind. 'Find mate. Mate keep safe. Give mate fawn.'
With that, the young woman left behind her old life to begin a new one among her newfound kind.

Such a shame - based on how popular Overwatch currently is, I honestly thought she'd have a shot at being the next reveal as part of the SSBU DLC Fighters' Pass after Joker got revealed.
Btw, does anyone out there think Tracer still has a chance of getting into Ultimate?

Well, Joker actually wasnβt that much of a stretch. The Persona games are from the game developer Atlus, and Atlus is part of the Sega company where Sonic is from. It really wasnβt that big of a leap to see him in this, to me at least.

Right. I'm just asking if you think Tracer will be part of the Fighters' Pass with Joker, because I remember in the interview with Reggie,Β
1: The remaining 4 DLC fighters will come from entirely new video game properties that have not previously been represented in SSBU,
and 2: Nintendo themself is picking these fighters which Sakurai will approve of, and make movesets for if he does.
I'll admit that I'm not all that into Overwatch, so I don't know what Tracer's moveset would be like, or if she would even work as a part of the game.
I'm trying to look at her chances from both a corporate, and a practical perspective. Overwatch is making a lot of money right now, and I'm sure Nintendo is aware of it's popularity, so that was why I thought she'd be a DLC fighter. She still could be. Who can really say for sure though?

Realistically? She wonβt be added.
Smash properties are/have been exclusively from Japanese companies. Square Enix, Atlus, etc, those are the companies they most likely have ties with. We are more likely to see Sora from KH3 than anyone from Blizzard (especially right now). At present, Blizzardβs stocks are down after their split from Activision got announced and they are most likely trying to consolidate their IPs. Even if approached with the idea, I doubt theyβd be up for that sort of crossover.

Ah, yes....Sora.
Now here's the issue I see with everyone's favorite key-blade warrior:
First off, both Disney and Square would have to agree to allow Sora to be in SSBU.
Second, even if Sora IS added somehow . . . now don't get me wrong - I'm not hating on Sora. Designwise, he's a cool character, and I'm certain that with the moveset he could have, he'd be top-tier, and a welcome addition to the roster, BUT . . . if he is added, then we can't forget that he traveled with Donald Duck and Goofy, who are not originally video game characters, but originated in animated features. If they are so much as MENTIONED, then eventually they may become Spirits, Assist Trophies, or even Fighters in a future game.
Sakurai's 1# rule about fighter eligability is that they must originate from video games. Sora's inclusion runs the risk of "opening up a can of worms", and overriding that rule, so that now any Disney character could be a fighter.
And if THAT happens, then people will start asking things like "Why isn't Shrek, Sponge-Bob, Goku, or Annoying Orange in the game too?" and it'll become a toxic wasteland of memes - that is my greatest fear if Sora is allowed in the roster...as cool as he sounds.
Though I could just be being paranoid.
