5. Cow Bell

Captain Tashigi was never known for her observation skills. Smoker had always said she was too absent-minded for her own good, which left the enemy plenty of openings to sneak up on her. While it was true, she would occasionally miss a target or enemy even while they were in front of her, her sense for danger was strong and her sword skills deadly.

It had been a long time since she was working under someone. Now a Captain herself she led her Marines to victory and-

...her thoughts were cut off. What had she been thinking about? She... must've zoned out for a moment... did... did she hear a-

Yes, it was a bell. Such a strange thing to hear all of a sudden. It was kind of relaxing, a soothing tone that made her feel so-

Her ears flicked at the sharp sound once more, what had she been thinking about before? Oh yes, she led her Herd to victory, and... no, no that didn't sound right. She led her-

Her herd was so very big, and full of many strong bulls. She felt so safe when surrounded by them, their musk making her... NO! No, this was all wrong. She was a Captain! But... but what was a Captain? Why did it MOOOOtter anyway? Huh? Had she just-

MOOOOOOOOOOOO! The cow absently lowed as she felt her udders bounce. They had gotten so very heavy... hopefully the farmer would be by to milk her soon... After that maybe she could MOOOOve to the pasture with the rest of the herd. She was hungry and... and the grass... She had to fight this! This was insane, this was WRONG, this was-

-DING-

This was how a cow was supposed to act. Wait to be milked, graze, then find nice strong bull and mate. It was an easy life, a life the cow was happy to have... She mooed along with the other cows, just a docile animal in need of a farmer.
