Adam's Comments: Heheh.... Not bad, eh? ^^ Very cute page with the kids all reacting to the idea of potential upgrades. Really love that first panel shot of them all tapping it, and the bits going into what each one wants to get. The latter was a lot of fun to discuss with Martin over who would want what.

This is a really hard page to comment on, especially given it's sort of written to invite speculation, but still had fun with it. Love Andy doing the Mortal-Kombat-Rain pose in the third panel talking about how to be a better ninja. .... Heh. Also Rain had a teleport move, come to think of it.

Also digging Ivy's nicknames for everybody.

Martin's Comments: Yeah, this is kind of a page designed to both lead to speculation and just be some dumb fun so is a little hard to talk about, but am rather happy with how it turned out. Made a lot of sense given the concept to have the kids start spitballing about additional powers they would want, and I do really like the opportunity to have Dionysus egg them on over it.

Does bare drawing attention to Val's line in the third panel for anyone who doesn't read Blues; her roommate at the school, Acacia, can teleport and is into a lot of new age woo kind of stuff . Val being very into science and kind of just being an impatient person in general, naturally this is a sore spot for her. Sort of a little thing but felt like a cute nod to her home comic.

I also kind of like the way Sareena and Misty have been stepping up to be the magical expositors through this whole thing. They and Jake are the main people present with exposure to that kind of thing so makes sense they'd be the ones really taking charge on that front. Kind of giving them a nice little niche within all of this.

Am hoping the buildup to the fight isn't taking too long or anything. Still a bit yet before we get into that but we have some other ground to cover first plus just kind of enjoying having the wide range of characters bouncing off each other and getting to see some character interactions we don't normally get a lot of.
