Martin's Comments:
There isn't a whole lot to say about this one, other than that the poster above Dorothy's bed is supposed to say Technical King. Adam's idea there, I'm sure he can go into more detail on it.

Either way, not a lot of dialogue or action so not much to say here. In the original attempt at the comic in 2006, though, the artist I had back then had Dorothy sleeping in panties. Just an unusual fact I felt like sharing there.

Umm.... Yeah. Glad you didn't go with that idea. That'd have been.... weird.

Technical King is something I had an idea for but may or may not get expanded on (probably "may not"). Dorothy is established as a huge Sci-Fi fan, and I didn't want her to be restricted to Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek references (and this is from someone who loves TNG), so I made a series up. Martin and I have made on-and-off attempts to do a world-building thing by making fictional programming for the characters to watch.

Technical King is about a distant future where Mankind has colonized Venus and Mars, but has plenty of civil unrest, seperatist movements on the colonies, and economic failure. In one of the most heated elections in the history of their society, a robot winds up being elected their new leader (due largely to robots being granted the right to vote after campaigning for years against oppression as second-hand citizens).

The idea would be that the show would focus on the robot-president trying to run the Sol System and quell the civil unrest, with his staff and the public at large struggling with the philosophical questions of being legally governed by something they themselves created. It's like... way too much thought to be put into what's essentially background noies to the comic, but maybe we'll see references to it sometime or something.
