Apparently, Darth maul has been shown alive before in the cartoons/ clonewars or rebels. I'm not sure because I only read it online. Yes, it is so confusing, he has a really weird story about he appears in the garbage chute/ pit and makes himself a body of mechanical spider legs or something weird. I have no idea! Worth a read on wikipedia because it really makes you scratch your head.
That is true--I always forget the amount of time that passes between the two movies! And we don't hear from him much after the first movie so maybe he became a lot less clumsy?? who knows lol
I think this is something I've wondered. Is Padme's role as the Queen of Naboo separate from being a senator? They never call her senator in the first movie so I feel like that is what she does after she is the Queen. (I wonder if the Queen role is more of figurehead since the senators probably have more power than the Queen? Hence, the reason a 14-year-old could do it?) So many questions, yet, I never look them up because I like to think about it and wonder... hmm
