2023 was an amazing year for art!

Back in March 2023, I wanted to make a new graphic to thank deviants for sending me a llama badge. I didn't want it to be just a plain ol' llama. I wanted something bookish to show a connection to the common theme of stories and books on my main profile. I have also been tinkering with drawing backgrounds and I love art that is framed into a circle so the library series was born.

I never expected the huge amount of love this series would get when I started posting. I personally enjoy it so much because it's a relaxing process. I use CDs, bowls, or small round ceramics to trace the circle. I use a silly purple ruler to make the shelves and besides that, I don't mind if my coloring goes a little outside the lines or the inking isn't the best. It's too fun to worry about that and I'm finally creating something that feels unique to my personality, passions, and tastes.

Many many drawings later, I'm excited to see what 2024 brings!
