Description
Continuing my other photos, the location of where WW2's Battle of the Bulge took place. This is a very hard location to see. It is in control of two parties: the local military base (this area in the photo is used for drills and shooting practice etc.) and the park rangers. (That's not what they are called, though) You need permission from both to have access to the land and luckily, I was with a pair of historians and archaeologists who had just that.Incredible people, incredible opportunity and sights.
