I was designing some outfits and came up with this style? When every drawing is a different style... haha?
They are both my OCs that I have drawn for nine years. They are both from my book that I have been working on. Little Cat on the right can be seen here:

Hmm, the picture is coming together, isn't it? These drawings on the brown paper and more are all from the same page

A while ago I made a poll about whether I should share with you all an original character of mine or not. Well, thank you so much for the overwhelming response for me to do so! I doodle, cartoonify and draw this girl so much ever since I was beginning in high school. This Charcoal piece is a fairly recent semi-serious piece of her that I thought would be a good first post about her. I have many drawings to share from over the years!

Meet Cat  Cat is her nickname but she is a character in my book. I began writing EIGHT YEARS AGO how horrifying! I've since written most of the series but most importantly, the entire book has been written and rewritten twice. It is very dear to me and that is the reason I went to college to be a writer so I could look at my own work and know exactly what to do with it. I can successfully say, my education at Hiram as a creative writing student have me all of that and more. My work is going well and I am taking a break from rewriting to travel and work for six months abroad. (I will still be online!) I'm not my character by any means and she is not me but the main character essentially does the same thing, going to a new world all by herself. And here I am, about to leave for Europe, by myself to do who know what but write, breath and live

When I return in the winter I will do my last couple rounds of edits and one more rip-it-apart rewrite. I'm so excited. Then, finally, I will be reaching out to publishers before spring comes to make this huge dream a reality.

But, around all of that... I keep everything from plot to characters and even their names a secret because I'm naturally paranoid about my work and who isn't to be honest. But even more so because I don't want to ruin the adventure you will discover when you turn those pages and read my work. You can ask about the story but I really won't tell much

This was the reason I joined DeviantART five years ago as well. I wanted somewhere to share my book and the characters I draw all day long once it comes out. I can't believe I've come where I am with it all. In celebration of reaching 5 years on here and a happy 8 years on my book's coming to life, I want to show you Cat.

This is the little info that I will tell you about her: Cat is a supporting character in my book series. She wears all black and has black hair that is short except for two long pieces in the front she often ties with ribbons. She's adorable like a little porcelain doll, super pale with gold eyes. She wears the most extravagant dresses and may seem serious on the rare occasion but come on, she's a kid

I had some friends online draw here over the years. Check out their awesome renders of her!  Thanks again guys
