Reindeer moss during my North Woods trip

the forest in Michigan was very astonishing. You know how in minecraft has different biomes that change suddenly? Well imagine that in one forest changing from different forest types. 1. normal looking forest- pines, pineneedles.... suddenly- all tiny thin sparse trees, ferns and a white cover on the ground for a 100 yards... all reindeer moss. It is so beautiful. Every couple 100 of yards it feels like you just step into a new world~ then dark wooded trees- extremely thick low foliage and many thorns and berries everywhere. it was amazing!
