My group went to a shrine and sacred fountain in the woods... it used to be a pagan belief location but with the Christainization of the country and strongly rooted superstitions, it was turned into a fountain blessed by the Virgin Mary to keep the old beliefs while focusing people on the new... don't ask me when that was, I only know the story. There was a beautiful chapel and benches in the woods. Open air, and full of pine needles in the sunlight.
Drinking the water is thought to have super natural powers, to heal, make ugly beautiful, live forever, never grow old... aka do everything, am I right? haha but a beautiful spring and a beautiful location it was. I counted frogs in the grass and let a dung beetle run across my hands in the dirt (I washed my hands after, don't worry haha)
