Description
Note: I am working on trying to make the main file bigger sorry for the inconvenience.Look out for a new tutorial soon with making GIF Stamps on GIMP!!
Here it is: My tutorial on how I make my Animated stamps!
After multiple people asking how to do so, I decided to make this. And anyone can make their stamps like this because I did not download any extra software to make the stamps so it is extremely easy.
What you will need:
Microsoft Power Point
Pictures (To make the GIF)
A stamp template. -- I used this one: (Made by Kencho )
and the GIF maker site (Free to use, no download) gifmaker.me/
To make an animated stamp (Also called a GIF stamp) 1. Save the pictures you intend to use in a folder and number them in order. 2. Save a stamp template and open it into PowerPoint. Copy and paste as many template as you need. Right click the first one and select "Format Picture." then click on the "Fill" tab. Select "Picture or texture fill" then click on the "insert..." "file" button and select your first picture. This will fill the stamp with your picture perfectly. 3. Repeat last step until you have filled each template with all of your pictures in order. 4. Save each as a picture and name them in number order. (Right click and choose "save as picture") 5. Go to gifmaker.me/ and upload your stamp pictures. The site automatically makes your GIF. Alter the speed to what you want and then change the size to: 100x57. (This is the stamp size on DA.) 6. Create your stamp after you have altered it to your liking. and then save it and upload it to DeviantART.
Pictures used are screen shots from Disney's Frozen.
Check out my finished frozen stamp:
Tutorial was made using Microsoft Power Point and GIMP.
Stamps can be used all over Deviantart to decorate your folders, favorites, main page groups and more. ~ have fun with your many creations!
I hope this helped! any questions, comments or even just sharing what you made, comment below!

It's been a long time for me, but, I think when you are uploading something on DA, there is an edit button that lets you set a preview picture (the thumbnail image file) so that is what you see before it is opened to the main file.

Or, you could download GIMP for free, and make each layer a GIF frame. Then, you use "filter", then go to "animate" and choose "playback". When you've found a speed you like, convert it to milliseconds, then "export" as "GIF", space/time between frames as the millisecond value, then you'll have a much easier, free GIF.

That's awesome, I will probably make another tutorial once I learn the easier way that you said. I also figured out how to make my image bigger so next time will be better. Thanks again and I do like you icon!
