Just a silly little comic based on a horse I know named Zeke. He always eats his hay over the door and wastes it XDIf you like it maybe I'll do more real-life based comics.
Well, I'll probably still do them if the mood strikes, so you may see more anyway

lol. I know horses (mine included) who have the hay put in their bucket and then they toss it out looking for all the yummy pieces, and then have to walk around their stall looking for the rest of their dinner.

my horse Jabez (see signature) likes to drink and eat at the same time, and eventually a 4-inch solid layer of hay will form over the top of the water bucket. he'll try and press down on it with his nose, then look confused, then kind of lip around the edges. eventually we have to take it out for him, poor thing, he gets so frusterated

My mare loves to stomp in her hay and drag it around by her hoof.
Tho at 36 she now spreads it out to her excating standards and then lays in it. I ususally put several square bales in her shelter now for the winter she doesn't eat it anymore, she has a complete feed now but she still likes to play with it and she makes her nest and a nest for Tom Cat and Cami the dog...LOL I'll have to remember to get a picture one day theres three circles in the hay, one for Suzie, one for Cami and one for Tom Cat .

Im taking care of an entire barn of horses that do this, and then they also fight with each other over who gets the hay and end up dropping half of it that way as well

We net ours, but my cousin's mare stands with a heap in her mouth eating over her door and ends up with about quarter of a net's worth of hay outside her door haha, my old horse did exactly the same thing too. Doesn't matter if you net it or not, the ones that will do it, will in fact do it in any case lol
