Description
Geez, this one took forever(and 26 layers)! Four little foals hangin' out in a little clearing(the 'camera' is in the woods). From left to right:
Baby black sabino shire colt named Bubba
Baby bay thoroughbred filly named Stella
Grullo blanket appaloosa colt named Cody
Chestnut tovero National Show Horse filly named Jet
Not really characters, I just felt like naming them. :\ I love Cody, his expression is so cute!
If you want I can also post larger versions of each individual foal...

Awesome job. I wish I could get a hang of layers. My books don't explain exactly what they are, and it would save me time and pain for BG's wouldn't they? I've tried, and can't get layers to work. Wahhhh!!!

Thank you! It's really easy. If you're using photoshop, there is an option that says 'make new layer'(or something similar). Make sure that the layers palette is on(if it's not, go to view->layer palette). And then you click on whatever layer you want to work on. If you grab them, you can also switch the order.

Thanks for the advice. I don't use Photoshop but I do have the Layer option in Corel Painter. I'll hafta give it a whirl. It's grabbing the layer at all that is the trick. I click on one I work on and it comes up, but how to tack it onto (or behind) the main image? Do I drag it to move it? Dumb questions but worth asking. I'm SUCH a n00b at this. Babe in the woods...without a pacifier.

Thanks. I did give layers a go, but ended up with ALOT of 'em for the Bacon and Eggs Clock: like one layer per frickin' number on the clock face! I dunno why, I don't need all those. I ended up deleting a whole sh*tcart load of them. Digital art--a bane and a boon.
Anyway, thanks again for the advice!
