WOW...i hate MAC but I love that background...i wouldnt touch it...
but the only thing that might be neat to try to add but not necessarily make it better is to add a silver lining type glow to the top of the "X" as though its catching that like. Much like a silver lined cloud catching the sun behind it and providing a nice but subtle halo.

You should've applied a small gaussian blur to the "Mac OS X" text in the black area in your preview. It would've added a nice depth look to it.
