And then the little hidden lights on the bolas' weights began to blink, and the need to move on tipped from being a good idea, to a necessity. She had little doubt as to their purpose, remembering back to the camera hidden in the walkie-talkie... Sonya now had the means to track her, and there wasn't a thing TK could do to rid herself of it. For the moment, at least. The noble-hearted young tiger-girl felt a whirling mixture of emotions at this development: Frustration, anger, anxiety, self-recrimination, and - oddly enough - betrayal at the discovery of this little piece of subterfuge. She didn't know why, but TK had actually thought that perhaps Sonya would play at least somewhat fair in all this. Otherwise, what kind of a hunt would it really be? But TK chided herself for being so foolish on that count; if she'd needed any more evidence that Sonya was after something other than a "fair fight" in this, she finally had it.

So she hurried on at something close to a jog, trying to watch through blurring, watery eyes for more triggers, and still keep track of her path ahead; if she went over that railing with her arms bound like this... TK held back the thought and hustled ahead...
