So I really didn't like the old Reference for Shalou. It was messy, and too yellow. So I made this one! Awah. Blue! And I don't have a cold this time
I'm really beginning to warm to Shalou. He's getting a bit more personality now. I still reckon he's a bad boy underneath all that shyness (Mating with AdΓ©na! EAAASY)
Ahem. So yes. A bit neater and more organised on this one I didn't write enough in the full body box either .
And I changed his wings slightly, I didn't like the fact that he lacked a balance membrane, it made it look incomplete. I also re-drew his eye patterns. But apart from that, it's just a Reference update.

No problem, I think it's something you're good at.
I can see why, it's certainly text-heavy. A lot better than mine, which normally have only a couple of paragraphs at most.

Well sometimes its good to have it that way. Infact, not even sometimes. All the time. Writing like this drains me. XD I wish I could be content with a few paragraphs but I just can't do it, I have to fill spaces XD

Well, my ref sheets are normally smaller so there's less space to fill.

Yes, but it does mean that people have to guess a lot more, it's not as clear who the chracter is.

You have got something that, always when you draw/create Ocs captivates me.
This ref. is perfectly structurated, and the details are simply awesome. I can see that you've put a lot of effort here (:
And about Shalou... (nice name btw) I specially like the contrast between the lighter colours of his ears/stomach and his dark rest of the body ;> (You're improving so quickly at drawing anatomy!)
The shading it's amazing too, and more and more things that I don't say because this comment is getting too long and I'm turning annoying.. lol

Yeah, that should work. Or eve just a less bright, lighter less saturated yellow. maybe just play around with the hue and adjustments on PS.
