Description One of the many possibility's with the Clockstellation code as its spine.

Dots dance over your screen to the rhythm of your music and they appear to form 3d shapes.

The picture doesn't tell the whole story, you should see it move!!
A preview video can be found here

Mine is still working and it and rainmeter both have not been updater. Did you try other visualizers? Or reinstalling PulseWeb?
Or did you change something in you audio setup?

When I try to drag my PulseWeb above around the bottom fourth of my screen it teleports it back down to the line. I already unchecked keep on screen and that still didn't fix it... However, I can freely move it anywhere I want below where it teleports it down to. Please get back to me if you know how to fix this!

WyzzyMoon In reply to StovetopNewt488 [2016-05-19 06:30:25 +0000 UTC]

Without "keep on screen" is moves more freely but still not without limits.
That is something in rainmeter that I can not controll unfortunatly.
But it's really designed for the center of your screen since it needs space in all directions to move

this is so cool man, any chance on an update that would add more dots?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WyzzyMoon In reply to jediobijohn [2016-05-08 08:20:36 +0000 UTC]

There are already options for up to 6 dots, I don't think I'll be adding more since with more than 6 dots the patterns become too similar between the dots that it's not that interesting anymore.
So maybe 8 if there is a lot of demand.
But feel free to code them in yourself if you really want them!

Just installed this and love it! So awesome and brings some nice and needed life to my skin.

Just one question: Is there a way to make the outer lines thinner and the dots smaller without decreasing the overall size?

schrecken121 In reply to ??? [2016-03-25 01:14:37 +0000 UTC]

Awesome work, but I can't change the sensitivity.
In your .ini the next line after "Sencitivity" is empty, and I thought it was avSize, but that varaible doesn't seem to do anything at all.
I have also tried adding "Sensitivity=75" - I got it from another visualizer skin - but as excpeted it was futil.
Can you help me out? My soundcard is incredibly loud, so I normaly listen to music on <1% volume

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WyzzyMoon In reply to schrecken121 [2016-03-25 10:04:26 +0000 UTC]

The Rainmeter audio plug-in doesn't really like low internal audio volumes unfortunately. But I build in two new sensitivity variables into version 1.4 for you that should make it usable.
I tested it a little bit and increasing "Senc" to 70 and "Gain" to 40 made it usable on 1% volume. but I recommend fine-tuning it further for your scenario. It will probably never be exactly like 100% volume but I hope this works for you!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WyzzyMoon In reply to OffTheMarc [2016-03-25 12:38:31 +0000 UTC]

just by dragging it on your screen if that is what you mean. If that doesn't work turn off "keep on screen" but that still you wont be able to drag it everywhere because it needs the space to be able to go up and down.

scruffyman In reply to ??? [2016-03-03 10:14:44 +0000 UTC]

Kind of a silly question, but is there some sort of process I need to go through for PulseWeb to recognise certain programs? If Google Chrome is making noise, PulseWeb doesn't want to listen to it> I've tried different songs and variants. Is there a fix? Thanks a bunch. Great skin btw.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WyzzyMoon In reply to scruffyman [2016-03-03 10:33:35 +0000 UTC]

It just takes the sound output of your computer like it is going to your speakers/headphones. The program should not matter, it responds to all sounds from music, browsers, games or windows.
The only thing that can have an effect is the internal volume of these programs or the type of sound.
If you open the Preview Video in your browser the thing on your desktop should be the same if chrome is set at full output volume.

WyzzyMoon In reply to Zippy0826 [2016-03-13 22:19:01 +0000 UTC]

That's weird. I googled around a bit and a few other people seem to have the problem as well but is has to be something to do with the configuration of your audio divices within windows because the rainmeter audio plugin works from input/output and not from programs.

Hey man, I've been using this for a while, and have been absolutely loving it. The only thing is I've got this issue where I can't change the height of the skin. :/ I've got a dual system setup and whenever I switch between my monitors I get the same deal. Now, I've worked around it by downloading the skin again each time but it's still a bug. I've tried going into the ini and managing the Y through rainmeter to manipulate the height  but no dice. Any ideas man? Thanks.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WyzzyMoon In reply to dragonouv [2016-03-03 10:03:12 +0000 UTC]

If you mean the total skin ( including empty space ) you should change the "SkinHeight" and "Skinwidth" in the main .ini file. However it needs to be quite big because it has to have room to move into all four corners.
If you mean you can't move it further up or down you should uncheck "Keep on Screen" in the manage Rainmeter window.
If you want to change the size and length of the dots and lines than that can be done with variables.
I hope this helps, if not, let me know.

WyzzyMoon In reply to TORTOISE4LIFE [2016-02-23 09:57:13 +0000 UTC]

Try different music, some music uses a lot of the same part of the spectrum. Make sure the volume of your media player isn't really low.
If it is your music try lowering the sensitivity to 30 or 20 maybe even or try Quad- Penta- or HexPulse because they have more measure points and will detect more scuttle differences.
Finally check your CPU usage, if it's around 0 for Rainmeter it's fine but if it's near a 20 I could impact the performance of the skin.
You can use the Preview Video as a test, It should behave the same way as one the video as it plays.
Let me know if you figure it out!

This and your Clockstellation looks awesome with a dark scenery wallpaper.

And also, very unique idea, I really am looking forward to having a desktop with several changing constellations, each with a function.

Kudos!

WyzzyMoon In reply to yorgash [2016-02-22 11:39:34 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! and I agree, with a minimalistic dark desktop there are perfect in my opinion.
I am indeed playing with the idea of making a full suite of these things, or something like one giant thing where outer dots are middle point for new constellations. But I'll have to see what works and what won't, these also take some work to make so time is a thing but I am not done with this code yet

Very nice. My first thought is it should be a bird. But it will take me quite some time to add lines and dots to get a bird shape. Oh well, but its really nice as it is. It just has this bird kind of movement to it. Very cool.
