Open and upfront, I am not a photographer. Your vision of this pieces is excellent. You've got a well thought out composition. Your lighting works very well. The texture, just excellent. That's probably my favorite quality about the whole thing e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> Lots of nice contrast, excellent range of values in your gray and black. You had a neat idea, and your technical skill is more than fine.

To be honest, it's not the most original piece (and I did look further into your gallery, you have other work that's much better in my opinion), especially in your color pieces. The title isn't helping much in that regard either. Sorry to say.

Overall, it's a well done piece from a technical stand point, its just that it doesn't stir much from me. I'm not excited about it in the same way some of your other images effect me. I understand, it's supposed to be a sort of somber piece, I guess.. I'm just not getting much from it. By again, it is just my opinion.

I love the texture and how it hangs. Black and white is the perfect touch to this, it really brings out the texture and highlights the exellent contrast. Great shot
