Description
Thage has been entrusted to train and compete with Ju, one of Nahoko's prized mares. She is nervous and fears she will mess up alot due to things that happened in her past.

*samuRAI-same and I did a small RP and I decided I would draw up something from it so here it is :3

Thage walked Ju around the ring a bit. Her nerves could barely take this. She thought it was bad enough when Nahoko asked her to ride Ju in a show, but to continue her training was even worse. She urged Ju into a slow trot, trying to build up her own nerves to even remotely work on more advanced dressage moves. 'Man... what is she thinking? How am I suppose to do this...' She thought to her self.

Ju was feeling confused. She knew that Thage could do this. She did wonderful on her in the show at FWR, so what was the problem? She nickered softly trying to get Thage's attention to get her to concentrate on the training instead of thinking so much.
Sora was working in the stables but knew this was Thage's first day of training Ju and wanted to see how she was starting out. He snuck away from
his work and headed out to the training area she was working in, making sure to keep himself hidden so he could watch them for a bit.

"Hey girl... its ok...I think..no... I don't think...what am I saying." Thage said as she pulled her back down to a walk and pet her neck a little, giving her a loose rein. "My mind's completely blank at what to do... why did she pick me?.." She said softly getting quieter near the end.

Ju didn't understand what was wrong. She didn't think Thage was doing anything wrong, she was just taking it slow. She sniffed the air and caught the scent of Sora as her ears pricked forwards and she started for where he was. Sora noticed and shook his head as he smiled. 'No hiding now' he thought to himself. He came out of hiding and leaned over the fence waiting for Ju to come closer. Ju bee-lined for him and nuzzled his hands and arms.

Thage was a little caught of guard by Ju's sudden movements. "Hey where... oh S-Sora" She said aloud getting to a whisper near the end. She felt even more nervous now. "Uh.. hey Sora.." She said softly.

He smiled up at her as he kissed Ju's cheek causing her to nicker happily. "Hey love. How's it going?" he asked her softly. Ju made a sighing nicker towards his question.

Thage looked at him and blushed, hesitant to tell him. "Uh.. its.. going ok I guess.." She said softly looking away and down to the ground a little. She couldn't face him, not with how horribly she was doing.

"Seems like your over thinking it all. What's wrong? I mean, you've trained Dressage before, why is this any different?" he asked her softly, a little worried about her. Ju rested her head on Sora, feeling a little better that he was there to try and help with everything.

"I know...but its just..." she hesitated for a long while as she nervously pet Ju's neck. "You realize what mare im sitting on right?" She said, a light panic in her voice as she finally looked at him.

Sora smiled and patted Ju's nose. "Ju. So what?" he said softly. "She's an amazing mare and a breeze to get to do what you want. What's the problem?" he asked softly.

Thage looked at him in shock. "Ah are you kidding me this is one of Nahokos top mares!" She said even more panicked then before. "I mean there are soooo many better trainers then me... even you're way better" She said quickly.

Sora rolled his eyes. "You're kidding me right? You understand how much she trusts you and has faith in you? Nahoko wouldn't pick you to train her if she didn't believe in you Thage." he said softly. Ju nickered in agreeance. "See, even Ju trusts you." he said softly.

Thage looked at him then to Ju for a moment. "I just.... I cant.." She said quickly as she started to get off Ju. "I have to tell her to pick someone else to train her..." She said as she slid of Ju's back.

Sora's eyes widened as he jumped the fence and ran up to her. "No Thage, you can't do that! That would be horribly rude to do. You can't tell Nahoko you don't want to train her horse, the one she assigned to you." he said in a panic as he grabbed her shoulders. Ju turned her head back to them, confused as to what was happening. "Please Thage. She picked you because she trusts you. Don't let Nahoko down by telling her you won't do this! I know you can, and she knows it too." he said.

Thage couldn't look at him, she stayed staring at Ju's side. Her heart was racing, she didn't know what to do. Her mind kept thinking of the past and how she kept messing things up. "Sora..I..just.." She couldn't finish, she didn't know how to. She tried to think of the words she wanted to say as she lightly leaned back into him.

Sora moved more forward and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against his chest. "Believe me Thage. Nahoko believes in you as do Ju and I. You can do this. Look how great SahRa turned out! He is amazing at dressage. Don't you want to help Nahoko get Ju to that kind of level? They both need you to keep going and trying. You can't give up." he said softly as he rested his head beside hers.

Thage blushed as he pulled her back against his chest. She listened to every word he said. "But Sora... SahRa is mine so... it wouldn't matter if I messed anything up..She's not mine. I don't want to mess her up for Nahoko...like... all the other horses.." She said quietly.

Sora held her tighter and shook his head. "You didn't mess him up and you won't mess her up. Ju is a very forgiving mare, and if you mess something up, do it again. She will pick it up the right way. You don't need to worry so much. Please Thage. Nahoko does not pick people lightly. Out of everyone here, she chose you. And there is a reason for that. You are an amazing person with a big heart and the drive to keep going. You just need to learn to believe in yourself." he said softly.

Thage listened to him carefully as she moved her arms to hold lightly to his. She new he was right but at the same time couldn't get over her fear of messing it all up. "....I guess I could try..." She said quietly.

Sora smiled and kissed her head softly. "Good. I know you can do this. And Ju will be happy to have someone like you at her reins." he said softly. "I should get back to work so you don't have to worry about me watching. But later, I am taking you prisoner in my place." he said grinning a little before leaning in and nipping softly at her earlobe. Ju nickered softly, wanting to get back to work.

There was something about him that always put a smile on her Thage's face. "I don't get taken prisoner that easily." She said grinning as she pushed at him a little. She pet Ju a little as she gathered her reins and pulled her self up into the saddle.

Sora laughed and patted her thigh. "Oh we will see about that." he said grinning more. "See ya later love." he said happily as he waved and started off back to the stable to get back to work.

She laughed and waved at him as he left. She turned Ju more into the ring as she went back to training. She still felt a little nervous but there was a bit of new found courage there as well.
