There's actually a story behind my Ben papercraft's "new look".

Basically on the 22nd of February, the city of Christchurch (where I live) was hit by another earthquake (again >.>) Except this one caused more damage than the other one because it was shallower, etc, etc.

So what does this have to do with my Ben papercraft? Well unfortunately he was not spared from the earthquake's wrath. I found him trapped underneath my bookcase, which had fallen over.

So I then decided to take a picture of what he looked like when I had salvaged him, and he...doesn't look very pretty, to say the least. I'd say this look was inspired by Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
