Description Drew this up in stream a few nights ago, cause a couple of these images were ideas I've been thinking over for months until now. Modo's Non-battle Ostream uniform and his Biosuit before it became the Laris suit.

I think they turned out better than expected... c:

***************************

First post here in over a couple months, now... Whoa.

Just to give an update to everyone wondering about what I've been doing...I've been working.
Got me a job, now that's been really cutting into my art time. For a period when I'm not at work, I'm sleeping so I can be ready for work the next day, or trying to recharge with the desire to draw that night/day being gone.

Overall, it's been a struggle trying to keep my art going, I'm still gonna keep it up, though. I just gotta figure a good strategy between my job and my art.

So, until I find the most comfortable and efficient way around this...art production will be slow. I'll keep trying and taking advantage of when I have more than one day off to draw.
When I do get those days, I will be drawing up a storm!

The design of this helmet in the middle looks strikingly similar to the one which the space lizards of my own use... Especially the versions worn by the marines and hazmat troopers from Defenders formation (they too are enclosed and have those oxygen "hoses" attached). Personally, I was inspired by Slizers when I designed those helmets, but I decided to make those big visors more advanced in their design, so that they wouldn't be just simple "windscreens".

It's nice that you retake this guy again. Last time you drew him he was bad injured and even like that he look cool and badass.

Just wondering, what did the Biosuit do before it became the more awesome looking yet helmetless Laris suit?

Modo's Biosuit was a custom variant of the average armor suits Ostream soldiers would wear. Built specifically for Modo by Arkanivus and Gol-gin Vek, it increases Modo's defense and placed all manner of weaponry into a convenient arm cannon with which Modo is able to control the intensity of each blast allowing him to capture his targets more easily with less risk of killing them. Modo's suit also has an auxiliary mode that connects directly to his body's life force. Modo can do a surprising amount in this mode considering his metabolism is higher than most other Alazorians, which seems to hint at Arkanivus installing this feature preemptively for Modo alone.

Also, before the Laris Suit, Modo had a limited oxygen supply when performing out in a vacuum. The issue was removed completely upon the suit's upgrade to the Laris Suit.

Also, the Laris Suit isn't helmetless. He's got one, he just has it off here.

Well then.
So in Laris he's got endless oxygen?

When Modo attempted to absorb the energies given off by the Laris Star in hopes of stabilizing it and keeping it from blowing up the entire Station of Ostream, the Laris Star corrupted his suit. Generally the energy itself altered the suit entirely and infused Modo with it's power. So, now it is even more apparent that only Modo can use the suit. With the Laris Suit, Modo is faster, stronger, and more agile than in his Biosuit. The arm cannon is gone, but the effects of said weapon still exists in his new palm shots.   His wings are free, and he now has an even more extensive defensive shielding around the armor. The suit no longer has to be put on piece by piece like the Biosuit, as the very suit itself is one with the Negative suit underneath. Meaning when Modo wants to, he can turn the suit off, de-materializing it into the the chest piece at his center (works in reverse as well) His HUD has especially expanded into a near 360 degree view, removing most every blind-spot he originally had in his previous suit.

The greatest feature is the suit's healing factor. Since the suit was corrupted by a form of energy, the suit can use a sort of energy-to-matter convergence system. It takes Laris energy generated by Modo's body and uses it to repair damages and physical wounds after hour receiving them.

In short, this suit does provide him with endless oxygen...but that is only the tip of the iceberg of improvements it has made.

Glory to Alazoria.

Nice to know you've been getting along well in life, at least. Good to have ya back.
