Description
After 10 years or so of owning various versions of Poser, I FINALLY used it for what I had originally intended. I set up the scene and created the lines in Illustrator and exported it to Photoshop where I colored it.I'll post the lines if somebody else wants to have a go at coloring it.

Indeed!
I didn't know what it all meant at the time, but I knew what I liked.

Nice Dude. Do tell me more about your process. Are you doing animation?

Thanks!
I will eventually work my way into animation, but it's probably a ways off right now. I'm just now trying to pick up where I was many years ago. My artistic abilities have atrophied from non-use, so it's a bit of a struggle. That's why I traced this rather than drawing it by hand. Still, the challenge and the fun was setting up the scene and getting the line work how I wanted it.
The first thing I did was create a quick sketch of what I wanted to do. Then I created that scene in Poser, rendered it, imported it into Illustrator, traced the lines, and exported it to Photoshop where I colored it and modified the thickness of the lines where needed. I think it exported as a psd file that was about 9000x5000 pixels, so the detail was there. That's basically it. The hard part was finding phose colors that looked right. When you sample a photograph, the color can look too pink.
I didn't keep track of the time it took because I'm still fumbling around with the process.
I also repeated the process using Inkscape and Gimp with good results, so it can be done with free programs as well. I don't know enough about Inkscape, but the lines were more fluid in Illustrator, and they have better controls for the pen tool. Gimp also proved to be a pain because the program wanted to anti-alias everything along the way, but it worked.
In the future, I'll try to do all of the coloring in Illustrator, but for now it's too much of a challenge.
I hope that helps!

Correct. All those different programs can be time consuming. . . still the work looks great.
Thanks for the reply.
