Yes, as I'm sure everyone here has created some sort of fan character. This is my Sonic fan character, though I rarely use him. I don't usually use my fan characters for any of my original stories because I want to try to be completely original. So, I rarely put any of my completely original characters here on DA. I'm also uploading this so he can be a cameo in The Murder of Me by Saphire321 [link] . If you haven't seen her comics yet, you should. They're so awesome!

This particular character I found buried under stacks of old artwork, and I decided to renovate and redesign parts if him. I know part of his design is from the roboticized Sonic from Archie comics, I was thinking about changing that but I decided to stick with some of the original design. I also gave him some physical traits from one of my favorite robots: E.V.E. from Pixar (as you can see with the eye color, white metal, and floating fingers). And I also redesigned some of his look based off of Tron suits.

As for his name, that is something completely original. No he was not named after Jet the Hawk, or Jet from the Last Airbender, he is named after my family dog Jet (who died recently in May this year). So, I'm dedicating this character to my dog Jet. I still miss him.
