Description Inorganic drawing practice. Wanted to try to draw a town street (never did it before) and on the way add more than 1-2 characters to the image as well. Basically this was an experimental drawing (did many things for the first time, experimented with stuff, etc.). Can't say I like it, but it was a great practice and it's not a total failure

The lighting still need a lot of improvement, the blending as well. The "blur" effect wasn't my intention, and I just have no idea how to fix it, and I'm thinking that I need to start drawing on bigger canvas because sometimes I feel like I need to add more details (on faces for example).

As well I want to thank my friends Alex "Ginger" and Evgeniy "Laptev" for helping me with the perspective and noticing some flaws so I could fix them (couldn't fix them all because of lack of knowledge of "how" or simply because my patience has reached it's limits). Thank you very much

I can't even explain how much I love this.
And the fact that its little blurry is good aswell.
There is so much going on and I just love it.
Especially the girls face. Its so pretty!
Good job

I just think maybe the girl should've been a little bigger since she is in the front of everything right?

Thank you very much for your words

Yup, my friend (Evgeniy) pointed about her size as well I just dunno how to explain it... when I made her a little bit bigger I noticed that I'll need to cut a good portion of her legs as well to fit the perspective, and since I didn't like that idea I just told him that: "She is not very tall, that's why" But actually you are right ^_^

I still have a lot of problems with blending... sometimes I just have no idea how to blend the colors and blend those new elements I decide to draw at the end with the picture. So many parts of my drawings are "out of place" sometimes. But well, I hope that someday I'll discover a trick (or a couple of them ) for blending :3

I'm sure you will
I'm not sure how you work on your drawings like in a lot of layers or all on one..If you worked on separate layers couldn't you have just made her bigger without cutting her legs?
Like make the whole girl bigger and just move her a little up..if you understand XD
But it looks good this way too
I think it would look less blurry if you had a lineart

Well, the problem of painting with lineart is that it's more difficult to edit the picture. I drew with lineart before, but painting directly without it saves some time and it's much more easy to edit and redraw. So I'm lately trying to paint without it

Btw, do you remember that I told you before that I'll try to use as less layers as possible for this drawing? Well... it went out of control and I couldn't do that. So I have 65 layers more or less on the .psd file Had to use 5 layers for the characters, 6 layers for the backgroung, 3 layers for the perspective lines, some for lighting, others for details... well, quite a bit

Do you have anything in mind what are you going to draw after the exam? :3
