Chapter 1: "An unexpected turn of events".Well, here it is
So... I guess an explanation is in order. After playing Dark Souls 2 and after that Child of Light, I had a crazy idea about how it would be if the characters of Child of Light have been trapped in the world of Dark Souls. I gave it a couple of thoughts and searched DA and in many other websites if anyone have drawn something related to it, and... (dramatic pause)... I found nothing! :<
I was a little bit sad that nobody shared my (twisted?) point of view and thought that... "Hey, if you want it, then you'll have to make it lazybones!". I had already established a few scenes in my mind, but I was stuck about the "How it happened" scene. After giving it a lot of thinking (I couldn't sleep for two days. Yup, I wanted to do it badly) I decided to check in youtube some in-game music of Child of Light and found the choir boss fight music I loved sooo~ much and the answer came shortly after listening it.
The Mirror Knight! He has a goddamn mirror! And then I went to sleep XD

But being serious thou, for me, at that very moment the two games had a solid link. Since Aurora and Norah have to travel through a magic mirror to get back to home, that seemed a good way to bring them into Drangleic.

It's so sad that Child of Light never got the attention it deserved. It's a beautiful and charming game that nobody really talks about because so few people have heard of or played it. And the lack of crossovers is super disappointing, but this one with Dark Souls is one I could see working at some point in the story or even post game, like Aurora tries to use the palace mirror to return to Earth, but because Earth's mirror is underwater, she gets redirected instead to Dark Soul's world, where she's attacked and driven off by this bastard after coming through his shield and must confront him again at the end of the story and her long journey in order to return home, offering Lumeria as home and salvation to the people who want to get out of this world of burning and destruction.
Biggest challenge with this story would probably be continuing Child of Light's style of making things rhyme, even if it was limited to how Aurora and the others spoke, but I could still see it as being a gripping and exciting action oriented story.

A bit late to the party but this is awesome. Can´t help but feel that Aurora would storm the Dark Souls franchise and get Solaire to worship her.

I don't know who the two characters fighting the Looking Glass Knight are, but this piece looks very cool. The rain, the thunderbolts, the Boss. Very Dark Souls-ish.

at first my country had a little rain while I was roaming around the castle but after I defeated the looking glass knight it rained even more

I actually never though about a possible mix of a ranged weapon with a defensive item
Unfortunately I never gave a good use to the crossbow shield, since I preferred a normal shield over it. But it still looks awesome ^_^
