This is...awesome. It really feels like it could work in a variety of forms, especially a greeting card. I cant recall if you have photoshop, but this would be really easy to clean up (mainly making the background transparent and maayybe fixing contrast here or there) do that it could be printed on cardstock or something and sold on etsy as greeting cards etc.

Hey, did you ever get help from your roommates?
As random as it is, a few months back a startup greeting card company contacted me asking if they could use any of my illustrations. It is online only (not a physical store) and seemed pretty cool, so I jumped on board. They recently launched their website and I have 2 greeting cards on it and get a small percentage of every sale with my artwork. It could be nothing, and no sales happen, but you never know and maybe it will be some huge success. Only time will tell.
They do take artist submissions, so let me know if you want any details.
