i like it but... they are human right? If one inhales what the other exhales and vise versa woudn't they both die? because humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxcide. Too much Carbon dioxcide will kill a human. So am I to asume they are not human? Or are the breathing tubes connected to somthing else in the embryo that iam not seeing? Sorry to be litteral i really like your pic!

I love it! How did you do this? Did you just make marks?

thanks! i don't know how much you know about intaglio, but basically all the line work was done using hardground, and all the little dot-marks in the background are aquatint. hardground is this black gooey stuff that you put on top of a plate. when it dries, you draw into the hardground using a sharp tool to expose the copper, and when you're done you put the plate in acid. the acid eats away at all the exposed areas, so when you take it out of the acid you have all these grooves where you drawing was, and then you can just ink it up and run it through a press. aquatint is a different technique that printers use to create value. you coat the plate in a thin layer of spray paint, so that when you put it in the acid, the acid eats away at all the little spaces in between the specks of paint, so you're left with a grainy, flat area of value. the darker you want it to be, the longer you keep it in the acid.
sorry, that was a pretty long explanation XD hope it helps!
