I don't use a set opacity, it changes from piece to piece. I adjust it to what looks best.

I have tried making other ones in the past, but
I always forget to save my work, and yeah, that is no
good (:

like 1,000,000 mane and tail tutorials out there, and
I feel that some of them are all the same. ):

So, you don't really want to make a mane/tail tutorial?

Just a tutorial about adding shadows on the body of the horse,
that's quiet hard!!
And a tutorial with 'all my tips' or something
with everything you think is really important,
maybe you've made very often the same fault in your
manipulations (in the past) , and do you want to tell that
fault to 'us' that would help a lot of people, I think ^^

Hehe... Yeah I wouldn't mind doing a mane and tail tutorial
it is just that well, there are soooo many out there, and
my technique changes just about everytime I do one. I could
do a shadows and highlights one. Or maybe a prepping one,
which would include shadows and highlights, blending into
the background, and detailing of finer shadows and highlights
