Description
Tora watched the birds, admiring the flash of color their feathers produced when they scattered on the wind. I wonder what it'd be like to fly...Would you like to find out? There was a peculiar light in Zehra's eyes as her ears caught the sound of a nearby waterfall.
----------------------------------------
Because the obvious answer to such contemplation involves jumping over a waterfall. Duh. XD

Sorry if I'm a bit slow in commenting on your art, Az... I'm so terribly behind on dA, here... By about 400 submissions. >_< I'm trying to catch up on stuff that goes back to October. *Muses*
That aside, this is amazing. *Noddles* You still do such beautiful work... the colour, the presentation the form... everything is so crisp and yet smooth. ^^
Please! Please keep up the wonderful work you do! I'm still watching... just in the future. *Chuckles softly*

No need to apologize! And thank you so much for the compliments!
Good luck with catching up on DA, and don't feel bad about not commenting more. Life gets busy with everyone, and I'm thrilled that you do watch me yet regardless of how active you are on DA. ^^

You were right, the printer did puke yellow tint all over the print you showed in class. Lovely.

I know, that print was hideously yellow.
I can't decide if I want to send it to the print shop to get a bigger print, or just print it on my printer.

I'm going to be printing mine all from my own printer. I don't think they need to be printed big just to turn in for grading, plus I'll probably be working on some of mine right until the last min, lol. I'm the best at procrastination.

I think you're right. Plus, I'm worried that this waterfall piece won't look as good when big because I originally drew it 8.5" x 11"-ish size, so the lines might look too clunky/weird when blown up.

8.5 x 11 won't be too bad when blown up, depending on how well you scanned the original line art. That giraffe painting I did was around an 8 x 10 size and I blew it up to near 11 x 14 and it still looked great. But the bigger size isn't needed when Ed is just going to be holding them in his hands... no 3 foot rule applies, lol.

Your giraffe painting didn't have linework, though. The quality is still good when enlarged, but a little line that might look elegant at actual size can turn clunky when blown up... and that's sad. ;_;
