Great picture. The subtitles do have Arucard because it is pronounced that way in Japanese but the english translation is Alucard!

Most people call him Alucard so we get Dracula spelt backwards, n that's how I've heard it pronounced but in the end credits it is spelt Arucard.

Im stating my opinion on how his name is spelled,but if u read the anime dvd back and its subtitle its spell Arucard but is said with a L to me i dont get the spelling a pronounciation they did with the name.(ive only seen the first the episodes on dvd so i dont know much the Hellsing)

Ya and if you watch the anime where this character comes from in Japanese, you will see in the subtitles that it is Arucard not Alucard, but who really cares?

hmm right actually it would have to be with a L ...BUT ... If you would write it with japanese hiragana or katakana I think you would use a R instead of L
