WOO! and 3 hours later, here we are.had the idea for a little while to do a time-reversal animation of some kind. talking on dAmn ended up making me try to think of what to do and now here is the result.
I rather like it

I certainly agree with you that the animation is very smooth throughout which makes it very easy to sit and watch. The movement in the piece, especially swapping the emotes positions really helps i feel. It takes the emote a big step from many fight scenes where the emotes will be glued to one spot and adds an extra layer of interest to the whole emote.
The small pauses you add to the animation also really help. It breaks up the animation ever so slightly allowing you to process what has happened within the battle.
If i had to suggest one improvement it would be increasing the canvas size on the left hand side so the hammer never swings off screen. Personally i find this rather distracting in what is otherwise a well executed emoticon.

Naw, that was just a kind of "What if thing", XD. The only time spell I know about is Slow, so that could be pulled off with a slow/blink combo, maybe O.o.
