The next school day floated by without much event. It was lunchtime and Ebony was picking at her pasta with her fork. She was still thinking about challenging the powerful Johnathan.
At that second, she was snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of shouting. Ebony turned around, just in to see Alexia's silver-haired friend being slapped in the face by a pale skinned sky demon. The boy was around her age, maybe a year older, with dense black hair, falling slightly longer than the silver-haired girl's. His black, bat-like wings were folded behind his back. The silver haired girl started at him in shock, her check, her cheek was now red and sore.
"This happens all the time…" a student explained to his friend in an exasperated tone as they watched from the seat opposite Ebony's. "The two school bands are heavy rivals, so confrontations like this are normal around here."
"Tyou! You… how dare you hit my friend like that!" a young girl shouted, confronting the sky demon. She turned to the silver-haired girl, who seemed about two or three years older than she was. "You okay Cassy?" The silver girl, Cassy, nodded in reply to her younger companion.
Tyou rolled his eyes at the two girls. He know that the younger girl would start ranting at him in 3… 2… 1… "Don't you know that boys shouldn't hit girls?!" she spat at him, while trying to tie her incredibly long hair back, it was a mix of red, brown and black in colour and fell past her knees. "It's morally wrong and I won't let you get away with it!"
She resumed her rant for a few more minutes, Tyou's blood red eyes staring down into hers, one of which was brown, the other blue.
