Another speedpaint over the 30 minute limit. This one I think took around 2 and a half hours. I've never drawn sonic before digitally. Last attempt at anything sonic was in 2010 when I tried to make a sonic oc, but I failed miserably because I could not draw in the mobian style to save my life. Recently after finishing a sonic generations mod commission I found out I suddenly was able to draw in the style when drawing out the characters ref sheet to 3d model off of.Anyway I pretty much drew this because I've been watching the game grumps play sonic and the black knight; Watching them torment themselves has motivated me to draw some sonic. :'D
It was fun painting him, might attempt more paintings of the blue blur since Sonic's fast gameplay gives away some good perspective practice.

D'aw I don't think you suck with colors x3 Although, if I may give some constructive critique, I would think about toning down the green in the grass; just seems a little bit too saturated. But otherwise, I love all teh colors <3

Sonic was my very first platformer game I've ever played. I forgot if he was my very first game or not. It was either pac-man or sonic. But I did grow up with the sonic underground TV show, would had found it funny if I was old enough to see the series with sonic sez; when sonic was telling kids not to climb into dryers and tails smoking cigarettesΒ :'D
The blue hedgehog still has a place of nostalgic in my heart despite some of his hit and miss games now. I still like playing the modern games for how fast the games go, it's just satisfying to go super fast and not die.

It was the adventures of sonic the hedgehog that had those outrageous but hilarious sonic sez shorts xD Satem was the best sonic cartoon in my opinion but I've only seen a little of it. It was canceled because it was too dark apparently and left on a cliffhanger.
I've always been a Metal Sonic person. He's awesome.
I don't like sonic X or Sonic 06. That Chris kid was a annoying, and I didn't like Elise in Sonic 06 or it's story. But I found it hilarious when jontron who was with the game grumps played 06 and he was raging the whole time, lol. Sonic 06 is buggy and apparently was rushed so it was almost impossible to play, so I think it's a good thing to watch others play it to save us from the rage inducing pain :'D. I've only been able to play it's levels using mods for sonic generations. But I respect people who do like Sonic X and Sonic 06. I like silver's design and his theme song though. As for Sonic X, I have a feeling the reason I didn't like it was because 4kids was working on it and dubbed it so badly to the point I just couldn't watch it anymore. They're infamous for ruining great anime like One piece, and made me think rice balls were jelly filled donuts for a long time. >.>
But since Sonic project 2017 and Sonic mania are coming out in 2017, I am hyped to the extreme. So many great games are coming out in 2017.
