Because I could and wanted to. :IOk, time to explain~
In the rp with my sister (all my DP artworks are related to the same rp story LOL), of Danny and friends visit a completely different world--the Dragon Realms. It being a completely different world, it is a completely different dimension. In each dimension it has different versions of the same people in all the other dimensions. This here is Danny Fenton of the Dragon Realms, the Danny that was born and raised in the very world of which Danny, Sam and Tucker are visiting.

Name: Daniel Fenton (mostly addressed as Daniel but will answer to Danny as well)
Hero name: Helsing
Age: 14 (can range from 14-17 years old depending on the rp)
Species: Half human, half werepire.
NOTE
Depending on rp, this can either be the original Danny or be the Dragon Realms Daniel--just not sure how Danny Fenton from Earth would gain the Werepire form--known as Helsing.
Either one works. ;D
Story
Daniel Fenton is a 14 year old boy that lives in a world of magic, goes to a school of magic (think Harry Potter) and was born into a family of Vampire Hunters. His family has been hunting the unholy for over three generations, leaving them vampire-obsessed and the thought that all flesh-eating night beasts are pure evil burned into their minds. The Fenton Stronghold sits in the near center of a town called Grimtear, where a near three story stone wall surrounds the area as a defense against the unholy. This Stronghold used to be the home of Count Dracula, Daniel's uncle Vlad, before he was driven out of the land of the living by earlier generations of the Fenton blood. Ever since Dracula's castle has been made the home of the well known Vampire Hunters.
Though the lands it sits in is based on the dark ages (think Van Helsing), the Fenton Stronghold is more technical underneath. Daniel's parents have a lab underneath the stone building, where they experiment on and create newer and more effective weapons against stronger and higher ranked vampires and werewolves--also labeled as Black Veins due to the vampire's black blood and anything that bares dark magic within their veins. Within the lab is a giant map of the entire lands, though this map is secretly the doorway to the other world--Transylvania. On a fateful day, the day Daniel's parents tried to force the gates to open, though obviously failed and had to give up on it, Daniel was foolish enough to push the machine to work and open the portal of which lead to the vampire's stronghold and home.
With his curiosity getting the better of him, he placed his hand through the portal, not realizing that only the Black Veined can pass through. The dark magic that was designed to kill any who tried to enter instead changed Daniel's life forever by infusing his DNA with both Black Veined creatures at once, making him the first Black Veined Werepire of the lands. Now baring his new secret and learning his new powers, abilities and powers of the shadows, he fights against the evil Black Veined creatures to protect his town and figure a way to stop his unholy uncle Vlad without his secret spilling out to his family and people or being killed in the process by his own loved ones. His very species confused his family as he doesn't die the usual ways they've always used to kill vampires, making them think he's a higher class Black Vein and desire to capture him for research and experiments to help them develop newer ways to kill his kind.

Used this guy in my sister and my rp of Sara bringing Danny and friends to her realm. I liked this guy enough to make him an official chara of mine...my personal version of Danny just cause I really wanted one. .w.
Ok, so Daniel's two shoulder capes can change to wings and back to Daniel's will. In his Werepire form, Helsing, his wings can 'mold' into his back where they disappear, allowing him to use more of his lycan traits on the field and/or to protect his wings from being damaged or broken--the usual methods to keep a vampire grounded.
NOTE
This Danny is from the Dragon Realms dimension, each dimension has its own version of Danny, Sam, Tucker--EVERYONE. They are ALL the original beings, just born/created and raised in a different world.

A world that is a mixture of Skyrim, Harry Potter and Van Helsing references is a magical and freaking detailed one! XD

Why would he capture Sam? He isn't evil--even if his people see him that way. Also Sam and Tucker would know his secret. I can't say when she will type it out--other things has her attention story-wise right now and not enough time right now to type it out. It may be a while. :/

that's a pretty interesting idea you got and I would absolutely love to see more of this, although I suppose you're not going to make that RP into a fic, right?

I would if I were a writer, but my sister did tell me that she would base her DP story off our rp of which we are doing---I hope she includes all the Danny Helsing parts we are going through cause I just love him that much xD
The shackle on his leg can be gained in many different ways depending on the rp I use him in, though the main way he gained it was from a very close encounter with his parents--the Dragon Realm's Maddie and Jack who are both Black Vein hunters. (Black Veins are what they have named the creatures who exist through dark magic. It is mostly based off the vampire creatures as their blood is blacker than night, though creatures like werewolves, thestrals, incubus/succubus and all other darkness relates creatures that originate from dark magic are also targets to the Fenton family)
Anyway, Daniel had a close encounter with his parents, he as Helsing, they tried to capture him seeing as no matter what method they used to kill a vampire, it never worked. They figured he was some sort of new breed of vampire (though being half vampire, half werewolf, he's gained and developed newer and stronger abilities and resistances that make him valuable to both his parents and Vlad--Vlad in this story being Dracula.) Wanting to study Helsing, their attempts to catch him have failed, one of those attempts left the shackle on his leg which he cannot remove due to its design.
There's a lot more to his story in my mind....but again I'm not the best story teller and it's VERY hard for me to stay focused on a story, even if it's my own. I like drawing better, though I do like to read stories that are into my tastes :3

And I know what you mean with "having troubles focusing on something for long periods of time". I have that issue several times in a year.
Btw, really love how slender you made him look. He can be as strong as a werewolf or a vampire, but that build is screaming "speed and agility" pretty loudly!

Yeah, I'd love to type out the story, but I've already found out that if it isn't short, I lost motivation to continue it and it just....sits there :<
Lol, yeah, keeping to the DP style, I kept him slender for the speed and agility part. He's actually quite flexible which just adds to his smoothness. With the blood of both creatures, he's twice as strong, twice as fast and has newer powers and abilities that others of either blood don't have but want. One for the vampires, he's able to walk in the sunlight--that being his half human genes. Even Helsing isn't affected by the sun's rays, and thanks to his vampire genes, he doesn't revert back to human form when day arrives like a werewolf would--he's able to change at will. With his wings reverted into his back, he moves more like a werewolf than vampire, though he is able bring out his wings for flight and even use the darkness as his shield and weapon--something the werewolves want.
Though he seems like an 'ultimate being', his weakness are a mixture of the two bloods'. Silver weakens him, but it doesn't kill him due to the vampire's undead traits. Holy water still harms him, burning his flesh but it doesn't slow him down as a vampire would be. Bloodloss though is something he has to watch out for, he still being half human, his cravings for blood will highly increase if his own blood levels are too low--a trait from the vampire in his attempt to recover.
In other words, he's genetics are VERY detailed and complex xD;;
But it makes for a very interesting story nonetheless.

Yup. Very, VERY interesting. Especially if you follow the whole "try to be hero despite what he is" plot and how he struggles to learn to control his powers.
As for long fics, yep. It's really hard to keep them up to pace and get to the end. I've been working on a fic of mine for two years now, and I still can't see the end of it and progress has gotten really slow since the beginning months. It's actually a miracle I got this far since all my previous works are either one shots or on indefinite hiatus/canceled.
Btw, do Tucker and Sam of that world know about his hybrid status?

Helsing's very blood is a creation of dark magic. It is seen as evil that needs to be rid of. If his parents found out--according to Daniel due to his thoughts on his parents--that they would kill him as an act of mercy, seeing there is no known cure to his 'curse'. Though he has a small hate to what he's become, he's learn to use his dark powers, which are known to hurt, for good. The stronger Black Veins his parents wouldn't be able to kill themselves, Daniel has killed, saving his town of Grimtear many times over without the people even noticing. He's got it rough and he still has magic school to go through lol. (that being Harry Potter-like, you can imagine that types of pranks that go on in there, and the bullies that pick on the less-popular kids which Daniel is one of xD)
I'd had stories like that long ago, though they are really old and sound stupid now xD good thing those were WAY before I joined DA. >_>;;
I've tried writing stories, but I think my ADD just won't let me focus long on them....it's saddening really because I'd love to tell a good story that I really love. ;~; But they never get finished...
I would say yes, Sam and Tucker do know--Sam being a wood elf in this world--she's still nature loving and goth lol. Tucker I'm still trying to figure out his species, though he is still the tech geek and the ladies' man. Though that also makes Tucker a bit smarter than the Tucker of Earth, seeing they school they go to is based on classes of magic, technology, and lots of spell/potion based experiments, they'll all know more than the usual teenage people.
Sam and Tucker are still Daniel's best friends, though with what Daniel's family hunts and the level of threats there are compared to the Fentons of earth, it is much more deadly and too risky for his friends to follow him out on the field, especially when they aren't the best at magic. (all being novice leveled. They all still have a long ways to go in their studies) Also with how the towns people and Daniel's family views the Black Veins, Helsing being the number one known 'threat' of the town, he can't risk his friends being seen around Helsing as that would be bringing them down death row. But that doesn't always keep Sam and Tucker from following Daniel out on the field to help him out, despite how much Daniel doesn't want them involved.
In this story, adventure and mystery take place, friendships and love would be tested and the legend of Dracula is revealed. I'd love to type it all out...but again.....stories never get finished for me ;~;

I have, but it slows me down and I forget great ideas that I would want to happen later on in the story. :/
I'm just not much of a story teller...
I am doing a Pokemon comic...well....one that needs to be continued...it's just...I hate drawing backgrounds soooo much ;A;
I suck at them, and I don't enjoy drawing them xD; I think it's the backgrounds that makes me lose motivation. Plus, I draw everything in MS paint, it takes a darn long time in there xD;;;

Paint, uh? Not the best program out there, but when you have nothing else, it has to do. I personally use Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai coupled with a tablet. Although, I rarely use them...

Though I have been thinking about it....to make it a comic and make the first chapter....though it won't be up anytime soon, I'll at least give it a try and see where it takes me from there. I want to at least get the first 2-3 chapters done before posting anything of it....in case if I don't get far, I wouldn't ruin anyone's hopes.
Yeah, paint is what I have, been using for many years and got used to its features. It's what I have and use without my drawings being stored somewhere in the room xD;

Yep. The reason why most of the stuff I work on never reach past chapter one is because I start it, then I have nothing else already ready to work with. Thus time passes and I forget the stuff.
I never used paint, and to tell the truth, I've never seen as the best program out there, but if someone really get used to it, they can do wonderful stuff. Like the picture you did

I'm currently working on a DP image--next will be Helsing cause I couldn't pick between the two for this xD; so I'll just be doing both lol.
Paint is pretty easy for me, though I've had many years of practice too. I hope I can do that comic...I love the characters, story plot and style it would be in....though my motivation is what kills a good piece of work ;A; Just gotta hold onto that love for the comic....and maybe I can get it through.

Hey loving a character because it flows with your natural love of things, just makes that character all the more your own. At least that's my thinking, and I have to agree anything dealing with vampires, werewolves, heck anything of demonic, monstrous nature drives me crazy XDD I just totally love it all!

Lol, I hope so! Daniel is just as loveable as Danny Fenton/Phantom cause they are the same person, just different worlds they were born and raised in. This one lacks Ghost powers, but has powers of both Black Veined creatures--making the Werepire exist in his world. I just love how his story in my head is playing...it's just so dark, romatic, charming blllllaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, anything with vampires makes things darkly romantic xD

Hey anymore I've found that the best darkly romantic writings and art do have something to do with vampires, werewolves, werepires, etc of that nature. You've always had my interest!
Like I told you the other night, your characters are so full of heart and interesting backgrounds that I just can't turn away. And speaking of Hollow and Siren, I have to say that is very true! Besides Siren is one of those characters (much like Hollow as we've found out XD), she loves with everything she has and defends her true love. She won't ever leave his side as she is bound to him as he is to her. They are just such an amazing couple!
Well Dragon (yes I am still going to call you that XDD), you definitely have my attention. You also have that dark connection I love so much about your characters. And honestly, I was waiting to see what would happen to Danny with the RPs that you and your sister do :3 And with your imagination, I am amazed at how well he turned out!
