DA is having a fit with me with this....spazzed last night of posting this work--posted it three times in a row. Deleted two....now the remaining one is gone... ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)Posting this a forth time now....and I hope it STAYS UP.
Sorry AGAIN for the inconvenience.
Like the Fallen Angel of Amity Park....he is seen as a threat even as he fights the evil that threatens to harm his home. He fights for his friends and family, protecting them from the evils that lurk in the shadows.....yet he is looked upon as just another ghost. He has chosen this path despite what Phantom is seen as...he stays true to his heart and keeps on this new way of life....a life that nobody thought was possible.
With that out of the way again, xD; I should mention that in the making of the cross, I had a hard time choosing between Phantom and Helsing--so I just did both. :I Also this is more symbolic than anything....and I just wanted to draw something gothicly pretty

I bet Sam would love to see this. It's very gothic, well... minus the red roses. She would have gone with black ones, although it wouldn't have looked as good as the red.
You know, this makes me think about some sort of pendant or even a stained glass that's related to an old myth or story. Very effective. Absolutely love the roses, although I would have given Danny a more peaceful expression (like sleeping) than this sad one.

Though I stuck with red roses as it's the common color that comes to mind when people think of a rose. Also, I needed it to be different from Helsing's cross as black roses were to match his species name--Black Vein.
I thought about it, but I wanted his eyes to be seen, not closed. I guess to show the difference between Helsing's and Phantom's traits. Also, just thinking about his way of live, there isn't much peace in there other than what his friends bring him. xD;

Yeah, it's unfair to Danny be a hero and always get pain and fear from people of Amity Park... it looks like that... I would say he was there for centuries now.. I have one scetch of a girl who has a tree growing through her, so Danny is still lucky even though it's scary to have plants growing around your body...

I love the emotion and facial expression on Phantom's face. It truly does explain so much in what he truly has chosen to do with his life, even if as you have stated he is looked down upon for it. the symbolism once more found within this image truly has captured my heart

There is alot more emotion on this Phantoms face.
I love the wings. I guess its cause Helsing has white bat wings? lol I like the roses here too but maybe white roses would have been better for this one? Sorry for the critique honest!! DX I was looking at it and white roses popped into my mind! I'm sorry

One has feathers, the other bat-like. Kinda like Angel and Devil in a way lol.
Hmm....maybe white would have been better, though when I think of a rose, I think red. xD; though white ones would make the two versions connect a bit better...one black, the other white. Maybe I'll give it a try and see how it looks?
