Description For of his OC, Velocity.

Now, this first request was a bit of a learning experience, even after the gift I did for a friend earlierxenoneal.deviantart.com/art/Gi… . Mainly, I learned the challenge of covering a pony in head to hoof in armor while still keeping them recognizable as a pony.

I worked very closely with references on this one.  According to Wikipedia, Gothic plate is a highly ornamented style of German origin, circa the 15th century, which covered a knight or soldier completely in plate.  Quite a feat in military engineering, full plate armor was often tailor-made for its wearer, and contrary to popular belief, granted him almost unrestricted motion and mobility.

Oh, my goodness, this looks too awesome for words! EPIC job!

I only have two criticisms: 1) The helmet armor looks a bit strange. 2) I actually expected the armor to be darker.

But that's it. Other than that, you did an immaculate job!

You're probably right; I was mainly just quoting the article, and I'm pretty confident full plate first came into use in the late 1400s, but yeah, something like this was probably closer to Renaissance.
