Gustave is real a 30 ft long crocodile that lives in a national park in Burundi, Africa, that is rumored to have killed over 280 people in his lifetime.Crocodiles leave adult hippopotami alone because they can kill them... Gustave on the other hand recently killed an adult hippo.

And yes, he is the very Gustave of the movie "Primeval".
I made this fictitious poster because of the disturbing thought that came to mind: this animal has killed lots of the indigenous people who have no choice but to live in this area, and nobody seems to care!
But I bet that if a foreign, white tourist ever got killed by him, there would be a massive international hunt for him.
That's how two-faced our society can be.

Gustave will no doubt go down in tribal legend, as a sinister spirit of the water. These are just the kinds of beasts that are told about around the fire.

Also, if Gustave killed a foreign white tourist (if previous accounts are anything to go off of), said tourist would just be declared a foreign idiot, who shouldn't have been doing it to begin with, would maybe get a brief position on the news for a couple hours, and would be promptly forgotten about.

Now, I love animals and I find crocodiles and their various relatives fascinating, but even I know where the line has to be drawn. Supposedly the demon hasn't been sighted since 2008, so I'm hoping he's dead.

Well, if the foreign tourist was black, they'd put up just as big a fuss. It has much less to do with a lack of concern for certain racial groups, and much more to do with the notion that a country can handle its own problems so long as they remain within its parameters.

BUT!
Patrice Faye announced that the film was over exaggerated, and the real croc is closer to being over 20 feet long which is still a massive croc.
Most of these Crocodile's reach around 15 feet in length, and the current record for a actual measured crocodile is just under 18 feet.

If you're going to live in a place where giant predators roam, make your will early. We're not some almighty god that all animals should fear and respect. We evolved as fodder and we're still fodder.
Also did you think that these people, respect the animal? Respecting an animal means letting it do what it does and that means letting it feed on people.
I don't understand where most people get off thinking, killing an animal that eats a child or even, someones dog, is some kind of justice. To me, it's just more waste. It's not going to bring the people or animals back and it just results in more bloodshed. :/ Pointless.

There have been plenty of white american tourists killed by animals in africa (hippos, lions, ect) and no one cares (in fact there are plenty of white people -living- in africa period). There is even a video on youtube of lions eating some english guy who tries to take pictures of them. Lesson here: if you go to africa looking for dangerous animals, be prepared to satisfy brainless childrens' lulz on the internet.
Now if anyone was killed by an animal on american soil, every animal of that type would be shot at instantly even if they didn't do anything wrong

Unfortunately, you're probably right about if a tourist got killed they'd send warheads after it. I saw that program about trying to hunt him on PBS. Some scientists even try to claim he's nothing more than a legend. <_<
