Description
Speak VisualMy art speaks visually in many ways. It expresses emotions and it makes emotions. I put my heart and soul into my fractals, and this in turn makes them "speak visually." Sometimes, I go back through my old fractals, and they evoke the same feelings and same memories that they did over two years ago when I first created them.
Why is my nVidia claw in the background of this piece? It's quite simple really. I run an nVidia Video Card on my PC. It's always running in the background, making sure I can run my Vista Aero Theme, or play a demanding video game. My nVidia card has also helped me in my art-making (always functioning in the background). It allows me to render faster, in turn allowing me to make more artistic pieces. I thank nVidia for this.
Looking at this piece, you may ask how it visually speaks. In my opinion, it shouts. The flowing motion of the piece makes one see fluidity and happiness. The division in the middle brings the eye throughout the whole piece. Strangely enough, this piece does incorporate the "claw," but it is scattered about in random parts and pieces.
This piece speaks to me about certain emotions. I created it while listening to some happy music, and it returned the favor and gives off a cheerful radiance, almost a digital smile, if you will. The gradient reminds me of a sky with a bright sun, shining bright and clear. Speaking visually... that's what its all about.
Piece Complexity: 4 Transforms and 1 Final Transform

Dazzling, but the image is so crisp and shiny. And yeah, you can almost hear it. Great, great job!

I think it a grand shame that you had to incorporate the claw into the piece; I feel it would be much stronger without. Of course, I understand that it had to be included in order to enter it into the contest--that is what I find impressive! From the literary standpoint, you did an excellent job explaining the presence of the claw and giving it meaning. You did well in reviewing your piece in a very descriptive manner; if I were a judge, you'd get my vote
I love the colors you chose and the forms present. Indeed, the swirling movement of the piece and patterns lends a rather musical quality to it all. I wish you best of luck in the contest

The awesome thing is, before I even read the title, the notion of "sound waves" came through as incredibly adamant. Pulsations, waves, and rhythmic bounces. Highly dynamic and involving.
