Description
Painting of my Star Trek Online Character. It's still not finished, but I'd like to get some thoughts about it cuz I got stuck + I think of making a Wallpaper of it but don't know if it's worth the work...Pls tell me what you think about it - any constructive critiques, comments and tips are very welcome!
Done in Gimp 2.8.2 - about 10-12h so far

Really lovely work! May I suggest that you take another look at the jaw and ear? Particularly the large shadow on the side of the face should darken the further it recedes towards the hair, to help create volume. Also perhaps rework the nose a little bit. It looks pressed in if that makes sense, due to the shading. Really good job otherwise, especially on the suit!

I agree about the nose and especially the ears they almost seem to be curving down they need to have a more up turned tip. I like the fact that you use darker colors which always look good on vulcans but i also don't like it because she almost seems as though she could fade into the background i would have lightened the colors on her a bit or lightened to the background to really make her pop.

Really great job! This picture captures the essence of an STO captain perfectly. I recognized that hair immediately--nice work making it flow around her neck realistically, but still look like the hair from the game. I also love the color and texture work on her uniform; really appropriate elaboration on the game's uniform textures. And the pose looks great! I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I think this looks just like one of the posture options.
The one thing that I notice a bit is that the fabric at the bust of her uniform doesn't lie in accordance with its seams. If you look at pictures of Seven of Nine from Voyager, you'll see her uniform has three vertical seams and one horizontal, empire-waist seam. Without those four seams, the Starfleet uniforms look more like Seven in the standard science uniform (not as form-fitting). This bugs me in-game too... I think it's a more or less unavoidable side effect of making a single uniform design fit all the different male and female characters that come out of the character editor. Pretty minor detail, though--overall, excellent work on the folds and draping!
