Description
From the Starcraft to Scale project, here are my sketches of the main buildings for each race, compared with their basic units. The full project has over a hundred units in it, all scaled correctly.The charts were later updated with improved artwork and altered sizes for the Starcraft Field Manual, but these are the original drawings from 2013.
Each of their appearances is largely based on their sprites from the original Starcraft, which is why they might look slightly off if you're only familiar with SC2.

Thanks, I did too, until Heart of the Swarm came out. My old WoL estimates were much bigger, but since HotS I've been going more or less off of Zagara. (Who's technically a brood mother, maybe those are smaller, but that old queen concept art of a queen holding a Protoss skull also suggests a small size.)

ah, I was thinking the same thing; the whole queen vs brood mother. but that early concept art be very convincing. maybe each is different? Would also explain the size of Niadra...

Yeah, for the next (unreleased) version of the chart I have a separate Brood Mother drawing based on how big I thought Niadra was.

Glad you like it. Each little unit is at least 1000 pixels long/high at full resolution (in my "Zerglings" submission you can see the kind of detail they have).
