thanks for the fun run through some aspects didn't work for me, probably version differences or personal failure... anyway, still made something pretty with it (imo)... take a look if you like

Good tutorial. I tried it and got an interesting result, but not the result you got. It's still a good starting point. Thank you!

On the second screenshot of the tutorial, you see a white button in the top left corner.
That's the button you should click to get a blank frame.

very cool! However, I don't see why my fractal doesn't disappear after adding the third transform. Any clue?

I wish I could try this, but my transform editor is broken. Unfortunately the only suggestion to make my display smaller is moot since its already on the 1440x900 max resolution and it doesn't help. *cry*

Its a great program, but the devs need to realize that if a doesnt work for everyone it needs to be addressed.

is there a way to clean up the image? like get rid of all those little specs of color that end up scattered around?

all i can say is.. experiment with the settings,
i'm not an apophysis expert

Step 1
whn it says go to transform 2 i only have transform 1 shall i just make a new triangle to get transform 2? cuz when i do that i cant enter -0,116 in the linear variable it just turns 1. ? anyone help pls ;D

XiceGfx In reply to M-Mikkelsen [2008-09-05 17:17:00 +0000 UTC]
use the '-' key with '_' on it instead of the minus key (if you get what i mean )
that should do the trick

M-Mikkelsen In reply to XiceGfx [2008-09-06 09:50:51 +0000 UTC]
nah it still doesnt work i have used the "-" and the "-" with the "_" on it none of them still just turns itself to 1

Wow thats great I love how you don't tell all the details so that we end up with something totally our own. I also added another triangle that was the exact opposite location of the the one in step 3. Thanks for this tutorial.

the positioning of the traingles is crucial, maybe try some other settings of gamma and such, that might help too

XiceGfx In reply to RebelAssasin311 [2007-12-08 10:42:21 +0000 UTC]
it's because of the positioning of the triangles i think
