I'm an amateur in apophysis. But I'm an expert in following tutorials. But I don't get any results looking like yours, even a little. I must be doing something wrong. Nice renders you got!

Thanks, the positioning of the triangles is crucial to get something like my result

Yeah but my triangles and field are a bit different. Apophysis 2.06.
Maybe thats a factor, maybe not. Anyway I'll try again when I feel like it.

Nice tutorial, even if for whatever reason, I can never get mine to turn out anything near what a tutorial looks like even following the exact steps.
Even so, here's my results: [link]

it's normal that you don't get exactly the same, i didn't give the exact parameters
else everyone could just copy my work, i just gave a guideline
anyway, i like your result, it's not far from what i got though, try some resizing and repositioning of the triangles

Ok, here's what I came up with, nowhere near as nice as yours, but I think it's kinda cool for a start!

Well I was using the 2.05 Beta 2, and have been using transparent background's so people can use them to make sigs/stuff with xD.

Awesome tut my render is still rendering so ill post in a sec what my problem was is that when i put the final(fx) the result is good(i placed it where u did) but the fx makes it circular with like a whole in the middle and then all the effects to the side but like its really circular
so if u know y im not getting same result it would be cool if u told me
but great tut

XiceGfx In reply to d4ga0 [2007-04-20 09:20:12 +0000 UTC]
it's probably because of the positioning of the fx triangle or one of the other triangles... experiment
also make sure you got the julia variation in the fx triangle set to the right value
