XiceGfx In reply to the-wolfrey [2007-04-06 14:28:15 +0000 UTC]

yes, you mean that the circle of the first step fills your entire screen?
- you can zoom out
- you can go to Adjust > Rendering > Master Scale .. lower the number of the master scale to zoom out

nice result
try to set the weight of transform 2 to '2'; that might give a better result

I used your tutorial [which is great btw], but my result turned out really.. weird. It's all grainy and doesn't look very nice.

[link] <-- I uploaded it to show you, would you have any idea why it's done that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

XiceGfx In reply to Floofeh-Kitteh [2007-03-04 11:59:49 +0000 UTC]

did you use the render settings i used in the tutorial?
That's very important for the end result.
If that doesn't work out, feel free to send me a note and i'll see what i can do.

Thanks
By the way, it might help if you increase the weight of the second transform.

Oh ok, um for the first picture you have up there for step 1, how did you get the fractal to look so smooth? I havent ever hada fractal look that smooth before.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

XiceGfx In reply to Snowblind07 [2007-02-08 17:19:18 +0000 UTC]

it's just looks so smooth cause i've increased the quality of the render in the preview window, yours will probably look more grainy

I'm having problems with step 3, the linear isnt working out for me, it just seems to move it around and make little mini images. I have a feeling im doing something really noob, but what ever. Thanks alot!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

XiceGfx In reply to AngelLover89 [2007-01-21 12:28:06 +0000 UTC]

- go to the transform editor (click on the button with the triangles)
- then in the transform editor click on the white 'page with a triangle in it' button in the left top corner of the screen

hey man!
nice tuto...
but.. when I fallow your steps.. I don't see what you see...

my result is very diferent, and nothing cool

what you say about?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

XiceGfx In reply to ljmi [2007-01-20 15:57:45 +0000 UTC]

Your result will always be different because you don't have the exact position i used for the final transform etc..
The gradient you choose is also very important for the look of the result. It's also possible that you have to adjust the weight of the second transform.
Keep on experimenting

I don't talking about color....
everithing is diferent.. maybe the initial configuration is diferent...
i don't know... but thank you.
