These days, in the fourth Cycle of Ages, there are real powerful magicians in the world of Toron, but none of these could even slightly compare to the old magicians of the third cycle. There were some magicians powerful enough not only to create a huge ice structure somewhere in the Sirel desert (at day the temperature can go up to 65°), they were so mighty that this ice structure still survived the strong heat of the desert since 850 years.
