While the idea behind this image was more related to be mysterial and kind of peaceful 'first contact', so more unfortunately that it reminds you about such a horrible story.

Actually, the first time I heard of this case it didn't contain the part about the men being severely traumatized. The ones that can be verified, however, all describe that the beings that abduct them aren't visible but the abductees are bombarded by images of warfare and disaster at an extremely high speed. They are then told by the beings that this can all be prevented if all intolerance in the world is abolished. What I find interesting is the high speed the images were shown in would perhaps imply that they are meant to be viewed by a being with an extremely high level of cognition. link This would be a plausible scenario for a civilization capable of interstellar travel. However, I haven't had any outside verification of this theory upon which my theory is in turn based. Not to mention the Pascagoula Abduction case is most likely hoax.
