The first thing I noticed about this artwork is that the sphere looks like the Apple of Eden from Assassin's Creed, if you know the video game? I like the whole Mars atmosphere that's coming out, and I like the light blue colors on the sphere and around it.
What makes it even more interesting are the rocks that are supporting it and it looks as if was placed there. Makes you wonder, how did it get there in the first place?
You could make really interesting comics where things are happening in space, I'd read that. It's amazing that this is a work of your boredom, not your idea. Simple, but very cool.
