I remember the original art for Locklear, when he had one eye glowing, and the other not. He premise, his design... They were both really interesting.
Dropping the eye difference (something still in the music video) means he isn't set apart anymore from others.
He now also has a way more relatable backstory... meaning the build up of him within the Seer comics is less impactful.
Just my thoughts on the new direction. It's also the way I look at Locklear within my own works (as a story character + character design).

So let me get this straight.
Some Dr. Frankenstein/Joker wannabe decides to give a mind fuck to a salty cop,which makes her say "fuck this shit im out" to her boss,and now the two go around doing morally questionable stuff that can only be put into example with this question: "If satan punishes the evil,why is he considered evil?"
Not to mention he has "anime protagonist syndrome" in which he worships food.

Huh. He kinda reminds me of Lucifer in that series of the same name where he leaves hell, cuts off his wings and helps a cop with her detective work.Β

i would say psychopath, due to the fact that he matches many symptoms of being one. Whilst sociopaths usually are closed off, psychos can have highly successful careers and are extremely smart. Another sign of a psychopath is fake charm. I would definitely say psycho

A sociopath is someone who can't feel feelings, aka just feels numb. A psychopath is, by definition, a mentally unstable and sometimes aggressive person.
